Practice Areas Overview

Our Practice Areas

Our litigation practice is extremely diverse. One year we successfully consummated an arbitration in a complex fee dispute where we represented three law firms. The end result was one of the largest known arbitration awards ever reported. The same year we concluded that arbitration, we also successfully represented a minority shareholder in a case involving oppression by the majority shareholder, we obtained a major settlement in a multi-employee discrimination case, we obtained a favorable settlement for three female employees in a sexual harassment case, and we successfully resolved a business dispute between two doctors.

Another year, while two of our lawyers were obtaining a substantial verdict in a business dispute in New York involving a failure to provide funds for a $4 billion loan to the Government of Kazakhstan, we were also successfully resolving a discrimination case where we represented eighteen Vietnamese employees for whom we had obtained a major verdict.

We have handled defamation cases involving doctors, financial advisors and executives; whistleblower cases involving attorneys, accountants, health professionals and human resource personnel; and a case involving the concealment of a $40 million art collection. The list goes on and on. Here are a few of the areas where we are often retained:
